A New Record in Exports and Industrial Production Achieved by Türkiye

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD), in the Turkish capital Ankara, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "The value of Turkish exports during the past year 2021 amounted to $225 billion" 
 
the Turkish Minister of Trade, Mehmet Muş, said earlier that Turkish exports rose by 25.4% in last February, bringing the total volume to $20 billion.
 
The number of exporting companies has increased by more than 5,000 compared to the same period of last year 2021, Muş said at a press conference, affirming that Türkiye has shown strong export performance. The minister stressed that the performance of Turkish exports will continue effectively this year.
 
The Turkish president said, On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the founding of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association, that the goal is to raise the value of Turkish exports this year to $250 billion.
