A new decision regarding real estate residency in Türkiye

Sources from the Turkish Immigration Presidency reported that there is a new decision regarding those wishing to obtain real estate residency in Turkey.  Real estate residency allows real estate owners to reside in Türkiye.

 According to the new decision issued on 10/16/2023, individuals wishing to obtain real estate residency in Turkey must be aware that the price of the property they wish to purchase must be at least 200 thousand dollars, according to the Central Bank exchange rate.

 It is worth noting that the real estate evaluation will not be relied upon as it was in the past to obtain real estate residency, but only the price registered in the land registry will be relied upon.
