The Turkish state enjoys a highly developed technical infrastructure in the transport, communications and energy sectors. It is characterized by a well-developed railway that facilitates transportation to Central and Eastern Europe, which greatly affected foreign investments in Turkey.
Why is the Turkish state so keen to develop its infrastructure?
From time immemorial until the present moment in which the Turkish state lives in, which was the former Ottoman Empire, it seeks to develop and progress by all means and methods; We always hear about events that took place in the previous era in the Ottoman Empire and still exist until the present moment, and if it indicates anything, it indicates that their actions were of sufficient quality so that their effects remain with us today. Today, it is striving to follow the path of its first grandmother, striving with all it has to match the developed countries to precede them in all sectors and fields, and this means an indomitable determination. And when it chose to make its infrastructure with this development that it is today, it was seeking to gain glory and attract investors to its land, who in turn would move business and add expertise to its experience and many of these things.
What are the measures taken by the Turkish government to make its infrastructure so robust?
There are many procedures and measures adopted by the Turkish government in order to make its structure with this remarkable development. In the beginning, It worked to reduce the heavy traffic in the roads and streets, by increasing the number of highways in the country and adding many new tunnels, bridges, and other many things. Now the atmosphere on the roads is calm and stable. There are no crowds here and there, which makes the situation desirable for lots of people and investors. Among the many things that Turkey has taken to develop this structure is that it has distributed a lot of surveillance cameras in the streets and radars, which makes it in this way organized and far from chaos. You see everything is going thanks to modern technology and technologies, which makes it easy. We must mention that Turkey, in this regard, has introduced a lot of new means of transportation. Indeed, it is not just a fantasy. They exist, and you can find them represented in front of you on the ground. Some of them are fast, medium ones, public and private, and many others.
What was the advanced infrastructure in Turkey?
If we decide to make a census on this subject, it will be a little difficult, but we will mention a brief overview of each. First of all, we have medical cities that are newly established and exist, but they have proven their existence by a serious action during the short period in which they were found. We have about ten medical cities in different parts of Turkey as a whole. We have many investors who prefer to invest in Turkey for the sake of these cities and the great value and profit they gain from this investment.
In the midst of our conversation about the matter, we have the Istanbul Water Canal, which is one of the projects that has received a favorable response from many people, not only in Turkey, but also in the whole world, especially that the real estate surrounding the canal project, according to expectations, will increase in price to several times in the coming days. Also, as before, it made investors convinced that investing in Turkey will have a different taste and great results.
We must mention among the infrastructure projects that we are talking about, the Istanbul New Airport project, this project that made Turkey astonished by its admiration for what it saw on the ground after its construction was completed. We say it, and we are not exaggerating that it is one of the best airports in the whole world up to this moment, as it has reached a great level of development, especially with its unique design and wide area. There are plans to make this airport the largest and best airport in the whole world in two years from now. Just as it is a destination for travelers to the Turkish land, it is also an attractive destination for investors around the world.
The highways were one of the infrastructures that contributed to the huge attraction of investors in the world because these investors consider the existence of these roads as a treasure that will be poured upon them through their investment in this country, because their presence means increased investment and employment opportunities and increased opportunities for abundant profit. No matter how simple the work is, do not underestimate it, because it may achieve stark results.
In your opinion, was taking care of the infrastructure in Turkey feasible in terms of investment attraction or not?
Of course, it was very well received by investors, which was a reason for making their decision to invest strong and solid, so they took a steady step to enter the Turkish land for the purpose of investment, and in fact this is what we find clearly represented in Turkey. The developed infrastructure in Turkey is not the main reason that made investors come to it, there are many others, but it is one of several motives and it had an overwhelming impact and terrible results.
