Legal Guide to Earthquake Insurance

Earthquake insurance 

to obtain government compensation for any damages that may result from possible earthquakes   
The procedure of obtaining the seismic insurance policy is token by the directorate of disasters through insurance companies authorized by the directorate itself. 
This document is valid for one year and must be renewed before its expiry. It includes all materials used in the construction of the property.
As for the penalties for failure to provide property insurance against earthquakes, there are no penalties for non-insurance, which are legally prescribed, but electricity, water or other subscriptions cannot be activated without earthquake insurance.  
On the conditions of earthquake insurance according to the legal provisions:
 
Earthquake insurance is carried out in accordance with Turkey's disaster law.
Registration of residential property is required at the directorate of real estate registry.
In the case of commercial real estate located in buildings that contain apartments, they must be subject to the law of floor ownership.
