Who currently guarantees your rights?
Going to this day, in which the requirements of life abound and the dangers of development have increased, the soul of man rests by instinct to search for safety in which he compensates for his losses that were due to his negligence or the action of others. In this context, the same question arises and says, What is the best way to overcome risks, reap compensation, and protect spirit and matter in the formation and course of life?
What is insurance, insurance system, or guarantee?
Insurance is a guarantee to cover the damage that occurs with a person to his being and his money during his life where it is physically measurable. The payments are kept by the same people who are exposed to the same risks and the insurance payments are covered by the insurance (fund) when the risk occurs.
The insurance fund is formed by paying subscriptions or premiums by people exposed to the same risk, and these funds are collected in the sum and then distributed to those who are affected by the disaster. Insurance is also a reservoir of money that is returned to compensate losses for the whole community, as insurance is a precautionary measure that achieves the purpose of taking precautions to guarantee your rights and losses. Insurance, an important requirement to allocate a budget to protect your life and property, there are many types of insurance to suit your needs. Although there is a difference in the types of insurance, the types of insurance in Turkey are generally divided into two parts: Life and non-life insurance.
What is life insurance?
Life insurance is insurance that aims to collect small savings over the years and increase the level of well-being and quality of life of people. Funds paid are collected by the insurance company and managed in such a way that they gain value.
Life insurance varies from one country to another. In Turkey, the following types of insurance fall under this heading:
1. Insurance in the event of death: In the event of the death of the insured, the cumulative compensation is paid to the heir or the persons specified in the insurance contract.
2. Group life insurance: It is life insurance consisting of at least 10 people working under the same legal entity, in cases such as death, death due to accident or permanent disability, compensation equal to the value of the insurance allowance is paid.
3. Disability insurance: The compensation is paid when a person suffers a permanent disability after the occurrence of accidents included in the insurance policy.
4. Personal or individual accident insurance: It provides protection against sudden and unexpected accidents, in cases related to death, accidents and health. Compensation is paid at the rates specified in the insurance policy.
5. Health insurance: It is the insurance that covers the risks of people's illness, and it is effective in the health institutions with which the insurance company has concluded a contract. It includes the treatment of all patients in the hospital (foot therapy and clinical treatment) as they are classified in Turkey and aims to cover the costs of treatment. What is meant by clinical treatment is the clinical patient whose treatment time in the hospital exceeds 24 hours, such as operations. As for foot treatments, they are patients whose treatment falls within the scope of treatments that take less than 24 hours, such as magnetic resonance imaging, blood tests and a doctor’s visit.
6. Special cases insurance: These are the insurances that are carried out based on people's requests for special cases that are not covered by other insurances. It includes damages and illnesses not included in other insurance policies. The premiums of this insurance are higher than other insurances because it is the insurance that contains and holds low-risk diseases and damages.
