Arnavutköy Region ... The Center of Promising Investments
It is one of the 39 municipalities that make up the state of Istanbul. It is located in the north of the European section of Istanbul and was established in 2008 after its separation from the municipality of Gaziosmanpaşa. Arnavutkoy is considered a rural area, providing a quiet residential atmosphere, and it has a distinct tourist character, due to its possession of attractive tourist sites, and a coastline on the Black Sea with a length of 22 km.
The Arnavutkoy district is bordered by:
North: the Black Sea
East: Sariyer.
South: Basaksehir, Esenyurt and Buyukcekmece.
West: Catalca region.
Arnavutkoy has one of the distinctive coastlines on the Black Sea, with a length of 22 kilometers, and an area of 506 square kilometers. Arnavutkoy includes 38 districts, with a population of 282,488 people (145,619 males - 136,869 females). What distinguishes the Arnavutkoy region is that it is considered the main water reservoir that feeds the city of Istanbul, as it includes the Sazli Dara and Terkos dams.
