My First Home, My First Place of Work, the Land of My First Home; an Exceptional Project for a Government Who Cares About Its People

 
     Recently, the Turkish government has introduced a residential project, land suitable for construction and industrial zones in all Turkish provinces, worth 900 billion US dollars, in order to provide houses and workplaces at low prices for a large segment of Turkish citizens, amid the rise in prices of houses. Hence, increasing the  individual ownership rate in Türkiye.
 
The registration fee on houses and land devoted to the construction of houses is 500 Turkish liras, and the amount increases to 2000 Turkish liras for the industrial areas, and then a draw is held at the notary.
 
For those who were unlucky in this draw, the fee paid will be refunded if the applicant does not get this opportunity. Also, the foundation stone will be laid by next year.
 

My First Home:

The registration for this project through E-devlet (E-Government), Ziraat Bank and Halkbank began on Wednesday, 14 September 2022 and will continue until 28 October.
The value of a flat that consists of two bedrooms and a living room is 608 thousand Turkish liras, and 850 Turkish liras for a flat that consists of three bedrooms and a living room.
 
After paying 10% of the total value, the rest of the amount is paid in easy installments for up to 240 months, with 2280 Turkish liras per month for a 2+1 flat, and 3187 Turkish liras per month for a 3+1 flat, which increases twice a year as determined by the management.
 
Finally, the number of rooms for beneficiaries is determined by the draw.
 
  • The Conditions:
The project aims to establish 250,000 homes in all Turkish provinces between 2023 and 2028, and can be applied for this project after fulfilling several conditions:
  1.  The applicant must have Turkish citizenship.
  2. Reached the age of eighteen.
  3. Residing and has his residential address registered (for at least one year) in the province in which he applies for the project.
  4. The income of the family of the applicant who resides in Istanbul should not exceed 18,000 Turkish liras, and 16,000 Turkish liras for applicants in the rest of the provinces.
  5. The applicant should not own a house in Turkiye previously obtained through the Mass Housing Development Administration (TOKİ).
 
  • The Allocations:
The houses will be allocated as follows:
  • 20% for retirees.
  • 20% for the youth, starting from 14/09/1992 and later.
  • 5% for relatives of martyrs and veterans.
  • 5% for people with disabilities.
  • 50% for the rest of the citizens.
 

My First Place of Work:

The application for my first place of work takes place from 10 October to 7 November through the E-devlet (e-Government) or any branch of Ziraat Bank or Halkbank .
10% of the value of the shop is paid after the tender and the rest of the payments are made in installments up to 120 months.
 
  • The Conditions:
  1. The applicant must be a Turkish citizen.
  2. Be a resident of the province in which he applies for the project.
  3. Reached the age of eighteen.
  4. The applicant must hold a proficiency certificate, a labor certification or be registered within the Chamber of Commerce.
  5. The applicant, his wife nor their children who are under the age of eighteen must not own an industrial shop. 
 

The Land of My First  Home:  

The applications for the project of the land of  my first home will start on October 10, 2022 and end on the seventh of November of this year through Ziraat Bank.
 
One tenth of the price of the land is paid as a down payment, then the payments are paid in nine installments without interest. As for the required documents, they will be announced later.
 
  • The Conditions:
  1. The applicant must hold Turkish citizenship.
  2. Reached the age of eighteen.
  3. Be a resident within the boundaries of the municipality in which he is applying.
  4. The monthly income should not exceed 16,000 Turkish liras.
  5. The applicant must not have land that is appropriate for building.
  6. Not to be a beneficiary of the law of Slums.
  7. To start construction work within the first year of acquiring the land and complete the basic part within two years.
 
     All of these are a part of the Turkish government's relentless efforts to gain the trust of its citizens, and elevate Turkiye towards glory and superiority, in the light of the great competition between the rest of the candidates to reach power.
