It has carried out many development projects on several levels, beginning with the field of education, which culminated in four government universities, Governmental hospitals and 20 private hospitals. These efforts have been complemented by a distinguished transport network that includes major roads such as Istanbul-Izmir, D-200 highway and O-30 highway north of Bursa, as well as a number of main roads linking Bursa with other states.


In addition, there are two airports in the city (Yenisehir Airport and Yusuf Ely Airport). Also, there are several marine bus stations (Stations in Modania - Guzelyalı - Gemlik), in addition to an important strategic railway as part of the historic Silk Road. 

In addition, the Municipality has increased its interest in the transport network. The Bursa-Railway Line, linking the east of the western city of Bursa and has been established three main tram lines.
Bursa is also distinguished by the cable car line, which has the longest cable line in Turkey, with a length of 4,766 meters, connecting the Yildirm area with the Uludag mountain.
