- The project is located in the Besh Teh area on the outskirts of the Turkish political capital, Ankara.
- The exterior design of the palace belongs to the Seljuk architecture and the interior design belongs to the Ottoman architecture.

- It consists of 3 main buildings, a central building and two side buildings.
- In addition to a large cultural center, a large garden, the People's Mosque that can accommodate 4,000 worshippers, and a giant library that holds about 5 million books.
- The palace consists of 1,150 rooms in addition to suites for guests.
- The project includes a large dining hall that can accommodate at least 500 people.
- The palace is equipped with an operation room with satellites and military communications systems against any nuclear, biological and chemical attacks and dangers.
- The cost of the palace amounted to 1.3 billion Turkish liras.
- The palace includes 5,600 trees and 72,000 green plants.
- The water needed for the palace gardens is secured through water tanks filled with rain water.
- The palace includes a car park that can accommodate 250 cars and can be used as a shelter.
- The palace consists of 3 floors, similar to the Sultans' Palace in Istanbul.
- The palace has 6 large giant gates.
- A lighting system in the palace is a smart system that automatically turns the lights on and off according to the need.
It was officially opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 29, 2014.
