And why not? !

It enjoys a lively strategic location, connecting the largest continent on earth to the old continent, and the stunning scenery in it captivates hearts and makes you yearn to see it again and again.

Because it is so important and beautiful, huge projects andinvestments  had to be established,

Where there are many markets and  commercial centers in Istanbul that have gained international fame for their excellence in the way they serve people's needs, they are really worth visiting, and because it is difficult to limit them to one article, here are the most prominent of them:

  • Mall of Istanbul:

One of the largest shopping centers with an area of 156 thousand m², located in  Başakşehir  in the European section, has the most important brands in Turkey and the world, with 350 shopping stores in which you can find all your needs, and multiple restaurants that satisfy all gourmets, in addition to the largest indoor amusement park in Europe, MoiPark, which has an area of 12 thousand m² and includes many fun games and entertainment for all ages.

This mall provides its visitors with the convenience and ease of shopping, as there are wide aisles, vast spaces and comfortable seating along the aisles.

As for men, they will not suffer from the long shopping time that women spend in the markets, as there is also a gymnasium for adults and a huge cinema where they can have fun.

  •  Venezia Mega Outlet:

Located in Gaziosmanpaşa, the award-winning area of one of the best stores in the world, was designed to mimic the Italian city of Venice, bringing the most important international brands to the European section of Istanbul.

With the same Italian design as Piazza San Marco, around the square there are various restaurants and cafes, as well as its canal like the Grand Canal in Venice, with a small gondola that takes you on a short pleasant journey.

Inside, you'll find shopping with famous brands and skyview roof.

  •   İstinye Park:

Winner of the Silver Maxi Award from the International Council of Shopping Centers, which is located in   the  Sarıyer  district in the European section of the city, containing 41 new brands that have infiltrated the Turkish market for the first time, such as Under  Armour and Kiko Milano.  , in addition to the international brands and other brands available in it, as well as the leading restaurants that will impress visitors to this center.

  • Forum  İstanbul:

Not only that, but it contains the largest aquarium in the city that will give you the experience of discovering the Jurassic land  and take you on a journey to the sea world with its creatures, such as sharks, penguins, seals and many types of fish that may move your stomach when you see them,

But do not have to, you will not starve in search of a delicious fish dish, in the aquarium  itself you will find restaurants specializing in serving delicious seafood, but if you do not prefer fish, there are other restaurants where you will find what is delicious and good.

  • Istanbul Cevahir Jewels:

It is one of the largest   shopping malls in  the city, and formerly the largest shopping center in Europe, located in the lively Şişli district.

It features two hundred shops spread over six floors along with a variety of restaurants.

For movie lovers, there is a modern cinema with the latest movies and a children's space with fun games.

All under one roof.

  •  Torium Mall:

For snow lovers, there is no need to go to Bursa, where Torium Mall - located in the Esenyurt district in the  western part of Istanbul - offers you the experience of skiing on the glacial walkways with a large  area in  Snow Park, in addition to the abundance of restaurants and international brands.

  • Water garden mall:

Moving to the Asian part of Istanbul, in the Ataşehir district in  particular, this shopping center,  which is famous  for its fountains that dance with melodies, is surrounded by flames, fireworks and laser lights that mix to form a wonderful painting.

You can enjoy this delightful view with delicious dishes from the best fine dining restaurants, while inside it is home to the best local and international brands.

Having selected and shown you the best modern malls to visit, we now take you to the heritage side of shopping, so tighten your belts:

  •  Grand Pazar:

Or, as its name was popularized among the Turks, the closed market (Kapalı Çarşı), which is well known.

One of the largest and oldest markets in the whole world, which was built in 1461 AD during the reign of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, as it was a center for the textile trade, it was expanded in the sixteenth century and with time other shops were opened in it.

It is located in the famous Beyazit area  with an area of 40 thousand square meters, it has 11 entrances or doors that you can enter from any one of them to find inside it nearly four thousand shops, in which gold, precious jewelry, original clothes and leather are sold, in addition to luxurious foreign furniture and carpets  .

Despite the earthquakes and fires that occurred in it, it still holds together and  proves its importance and popularity to this day.

  • Egypt Market (Mısır Çarşı):

The second largest closed traditional market after the Grand Bazaar, built in 1660 as a Beni Annex to the Yeni Camii or the Mosque of the Sultan's Mother in the  Eminönü region.

Its name came from spices, medicinal herbs and other products that were imported annually from Egypt through the Cairo convoy, with a design similar to the letter (L) and with six entrances,

The market consisted of eighty-eight rooms, where prescriptions were prepared from herbs.

Today, tea, dried fruit and nuts are sold, as well as shops selling jewellery, fabrics, cooking utensils and even souvenir pieces.

It is worth mentioning the presence of an impressively designed area  called Dua Meydanı, where the call to prayer is raised, as well as when the market opens, traders are invited to bless and live.

This historic market caught fire twice, 1691 and 1940,  devouring large parts of the market, causing heavy losses, but it has maintained its beauty, vitality and popularity until today, taking you on a journey through time to the period of Ottoman rule, adding an indescribable feeling that you will feel when you set foot on the market ground.
