What is the E-5 highway?
E-5 highway is one of the most famous and most used roads in Istanbul, this highway was established on the European side of Istanbul to start from Büyükçekmece area until it reaches to Fatih district in the heart of the old city, also contains the metrobus line, which is one of the most famous and fastest transportation in Istanbul along the 50 km and a total of 45 stations in the European and Asian sides of Istanbul.

E-5 is part of the D-100 International Highway, one of the most important highways in Turkey, connecting eastern and western Turkey, from the Bulgarian border town of Kapıkule to the Turkish-Iranian border town of Gürbulak.
