Types of residency in Turkey
1- Tourist residence:

2- Work residence:

How to get real estate residency
It is one of the rights of the foreigner who owns a property in Turkey, which allows him to reside in Turkish lands legally and is given to him by the Immigration Department. The real estate residence is considered the best compared to the rest of the stays in Turkey after the permanent residence, and you get it through these steps
- You must buy an apartment in Türkiye worth 200 thousand US dollars.
- A title deed must be obtained to be submitted and the officially registered value of the property must be more than $200,000 USD.
- Go to the interview appointment at the Immigration Department building and submit the necessary papers that we mentioned previously.
- Paying real estate residency fees.
- he residence card will be sent via Turkish post (PTT) if the residency is approved.
Conditions of real estate residency
1. The existence of health insurance for all family members.
2. A family statement for the children in the Turkish language, certified by the Turkish embassy from their home country.
3. Title deed of the real estate that the applicant bought for real estate residence (property title deed).
4. A passport that is valid for six months.
5. Earthquake insurance for the aforementioned property on which the real estate residence will be granted.
What if the property value is $ 400,000
When we talk about owning a property in Turkey that entitles you to obtain real estate residency, we are talking about cheap real estate, but if the property's value is $ 400,000 or more, then you will obtain Turkish citizenship, after passing these steps.
• First, you must purchase a property or group of real estate with a value of at least $ 400,000
• Then obtaining a real property evaluation in Turkey by one of the companies accredited by the Turkish Financial Markets Authority and issuing a certified submission report.
• Then, later, you must go to the Land Registry Directorate "Tabu" to submit a reservation request for the property for a period of 3 years in order to obtain Turkish citizenship.
• Then an application for an investment residence permit is submitted by the Immigration Department.
Next, you must go to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanism to approve the request.
• After obtaining the accreditation, you must submit an application to obtain Turkish citizenship to the Population Directorate.
• Here your role ends and the government’s role begins. The Census Department organizes the file and sends it to the General Directorate of Census.
• The study of the application begins by the Census Directorate and then sends it to the General Directorate of Census.
• In the absence of any legal problems or a shortage of papers, the General Directorate of Population sends the file to the Public Security Directorate and the National Intelligence Presidency.
• After completing the security and intelligence studies on the submitted file, it is sent back to the General Directorate of Census.
• After that, the General Directorate of Census sends the file to the Ministry of Interior.
• The Ministry of Interior sends the file to the Presidency of the Republic for approval.
