Where is tea grown in Turkey?
As we have already mentioned, Turkish tea is not an ordinary drink, but rather a means of rapprochement, honoring the guest and strengthening relations. And due to Turkey's unique location, it was famous for its tea cultivation, especially with the fertile soil, high rainfall and moderate climate in Turkey. And the cultivation of tea spreads on the eastern borders of the Black Sea region, in the province of Rize more specifically. Tea is produced in the period from May to October, and the leaves are collected and dried so that they can be easily ground to produce delicious Turkish tea.
Tea trade in Turkey is considered one of the most successful types of trade, as Turkish tea became famous all over the world. Therefore, Turkey was able to export large quantities of tea to more than 101 countries around the world, such as Saudi Arabia, Russia and a number of European countries. Belgium ranks first among the countries importing Turkish tea, followed by Germany. Among the Arab countries, Iraq ranked first, followed by Saudi Arabia, followed by Qatar. It is expected that the export of tea to international countries will increase further in the coming years, according to the economic plans that are being developed.
How is Turkish tea prepared?
Turkish tea is characterized by the presence of a specific method for making it, as in the beginning there are special jugs for Turkish tea, usually in the form of two jugs placed on top of each other, we put water in the first and tea in the second, and they are put on the fire until boiling, then the water and tea are poured into the cup in the required amount as its concentration depends on the water added, and of course, sugar can be added as desired.

Precautions for Turkish tea:
Despite the many benefits, Turkish tea should be drunk in moderation, because excessive drinking may lead to problems related to hyperstimulation due to the high caffeine content in it. It is also recommended to drink Turkish tea at least two hours after eating, because tea impairs the absorption of iron and prevents its use, and therefore the necessary nutrients cannot be obtained, and this may lead to iron deficiency anemia. Of course, it is necessary to follow a healthy diet, adhere to sports and follow a healthy lifestyle to maintain the body.
