Many tourists in the world when they decide to go on a tourist trip outside the borders of their country, their choice falls directly on the Turkish city of Istanbul, because it includes many features, advantages and tourist sites that suit their main purpose of the trip. Of course, as it is known, Istanbul is divided into two parts, Asian and European, and tourists prefer both parts. But if you want to visit the Asian section specifically, you must read and review the most important written and reported information on this matter with all its contents and details.
What are the most important tourist places in Istanbul, Asia:
1- Sultan Eyup Mosque: A famous area such as the Sultan Eyup area in Istanbul must have factors that contributed to making it this famous, which is the presence of archaeological and tourist attractions in it. One of the most important landmarks in it is the Sultan Eyup Mosque, which the area was named after, because this mosque is considered the first mosque built in Istanbul. This mosque, besides that it contains in its outer courtyard the tomb of Sultan Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, also contains many things related to the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. Those factors in this mosque are what made it a destination for visitors from all over, whether they were Turks or tourists from outside Turkey.
2- Maiden Tower: The Maiden Tower in the Bosphorus is very special and there are many visitors who come to Turkey, especially to visit it, but you may be wondering why it was called by that name? This tower was called by this name because a girl died in it when she was young, not over eighteen years old, and there are many stories and legends that have been told in this regard. Therefore, these stories were a reason that made tourists want to watch it closely. If you are on a visit to Turkey, you must visit the Maiden Tower, as it will transport you for a period of time when you were not present.
3- Baghdad Street: We also know that European Istanbul has a famous street called Istiklal Street, but you should also know that if you are in Asian Istanbul, you can find an analogue of this street, which is Baghdad Street, as they are similar in many things and details. This street is the most famous in this part of the city, and one of the things that makes it special is its large length of about fourteen kilometers. Also, it is located alongside the Sea of Marmara, and this is what gave it that importance. If you search for the history of this street, you will find that it extends to the Ottoman era, and this is what added to it a historical value. The commercial purpose is mostly to be in that city. You can find many stores that contain everything you need. 5- Goksu River: Many tourists in the world when they decide to go to Istanbul on a tourist trip, their first goal of that visit is to visit the beautiful natural places because this is what is most distinctive about it. If you are in Asian Istanbul, you will be able to visit many sites, and the most important thing in it is the Goksu River. This river is characterized by many qualities, it is enough that its waters are the purest blue at all, and this river is surrounded by many trees of green color. It is a miniature version of the real beauty that many people aspire to reach. Finally, this river connects its two ends with an ancient bridge, but it is still used until the present time.
6- Çamlica Mosque: Many people like to take a religious tourist trip to the Turkish territory, and there is no more beautiful than mosques for such a goal, and there is no more beautiful and better than the Çamlıca Mosque in Asian Istanbul. This mosque can be considered the largest ever in Turkey as a whole, and this mosque is not historical or even archaeological. On the contrary, it is modern, and it has only been around for two years, and this is one of the things that made it a tourist haven, so tourists want to see such modern things. The mosque includes a lot of things, such as the conference hall, the art gallery and the cultural library. All these elements make it a good destination, as it is more than one thing at the same time.
